To appeal

To All Concerned Individuals & Organizations:

This is an appeal for your help in collecting the necessary resources to build a social services center to help the extremely poor in Nepal. The Buddhist Social Services Center (hereinafter the "Center") is an Organization already in existence in Kathmandu, Nepal, (Established 1993 C.E.), and seeking funds to build a new Center. Currently the Center exists in one temporary building with two small rooms and a sheet metal roof.

The Buddhist Social Services Center already has the land purchased where the new Center will be built and an active organization of members. Detailed information concerning the organization is available upon request.

Professional architectural plans have also been created detailing exactly the funds needed for supplies, etc., to establish the Center.

The Center will include one building containing approximately twelve rooms for poor, elderly and/or ill individuals and / or families; another similar building containing approximately twenty-four rooms to be used for the same purposes; and a traditional prayer hall with approximately fourteen rooms on two floors above the prayer hall.

The Center will primarily focus on assisting impoverished Buddhists in the Himalayan region, especially the Sherpa and Tibetan Communities in the Kathmandu and surrounding areas of Nepal. However, the Center will also provide assistance to any poor individuals regardless of religion, race, or national origin.

The situation in Nepal remains extremely difficult for many children and adults who find they are in difficult situations without any funds for housing, food, or medical needs. Nepal is one of the poorest countries in Asia and this Center will provide greatly needed assistance to the poor of this region. Please help us if you can to establish this truly needed facility that will benefit countless people in the years to come.

Approximately $262,000 U.S. Dollars are needed to completely build and establish this Center in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Every dollar is helpful and appreciated. Even small donations of $5 - $10 U.S. Dollars are greatly appreciated.

I could not have closed on my first home without Mr, Pedro ! Pedro and his team went above and beyond for me on this transaction. He handled my very tight turn around time with ease and was always available for me when I had questions (and I had plenty), even when he was away from the office, which I greatly appreciated! He and his team handled many last-minute scrambles with the seller and worked tirelessly to make sure that I could close before my lease (and my down payment assistance, for that matter) expired. Mr Pedro is an incredibly knowledgeable Loan Officer, courteous, and patient. I went through a couple offers on properties before my final purchase and Pedro was there to help with each one, often coordinating with my agent behind the scenes. I felt supported throughout the entire process. Thanks to Pedro and the tireless efforts of his team, I am now a proud homeowner! I would encourage you to consider Pedro and his loan company for any kind of loan.
